You might have caught the little video clip elsewhere but, if you didn’t or if you want some more info on the markets lined up for this month, dive in.
First up, this Sunday, is LAM (London Alternative Market) and you still have time to get a lower-price ticket. The venue, Revolution on Leadenhall Street, is pretty easy to reach on public transport and we’re expecting a fairly lively day, so come and check it out. Especially if you are a fan of Daisy’s Floggers, as this is her last event before retirement.
Then, on Saturday 11th November, I’m venturing westwards again for two consecutive events, starting with Mach 2 in Gloucestershire. This one is more along the lines of: if you know, you know. And if you love latex *and* hot bedtime reading, stop by the stall and say hello. Then I get to spend a night with an old pal in the Bristol area, because Sunday 12th I’ll be at SWAMP once again. Deciding how to divide the naughty books between the two suitcases so I have more appropriate stock for each event and don’t run out of anything is going to be a challenge, but an entertaining one.
To round off my travels I’ll be at the BBB on Sunday 19th, with a refilled bag and a few more interesting things to share. Good job I like running around the country, though the weekend of the 25th and 26th I will be at home and probably sleeping fairly intensely. Or Christmas shopping. Or sorting out this website which I KNOW is in need of some serious tlc.
This time of year is generally a lively one for all your favourite independent sellers, so forget Black Friday and all the big buggers, spread the love and the money among the small businesses you know and love. Because you know what’s coming next month, don’t you…
